Partnership with Huntress Labs

For the past 10 years, the founding team of Huntress Labs has directly supported offensive cyber operations in the U.S. Intelligence Community. Additionally, they won the World Series of Hacking (DEF CON’s Capture The Flag) in 2012 and have instructed at Black Hat cyber security conferences. With this expertise, they developed the Huntress breach detection system, which enables Managed Service Providers to discover and remediate undetected hackers on their customers’ computers in hours/days instead of weeks/months.

Huntress Labs is the 2016 Maryland Incubator Company of the Year Finalist and is also in the 2016 Top 40 Cybersecurity Innovators & Entrepreneurs. Kyle Hanslovan, Co-Founder and CEO of Huntress Labs, has trained at Black Hat and presented at dozens of worldwide cyber security conferences. For example, one of the threats Huntress identified was latent software on an employee’s accounting computer, which could have given access to banking account information. That computer had already been updated with a well-known security software. Out of curiosity, we ran two other top-tier scans; they missed it also. Only Huntress was able to detect the malware.
